When our classical music radio station in Detroit shut down, I was definitely ruined. Here I am, in a major city, and there was no way for me to stream to classic music on the radio in the car. Some cities had two classical stations at least, and at one instance Detroit had as well. Don’t get me wrong – public radio still played lots of classical composers, but only during particular programs. Most of the time, I would have to carry my own CDs with me if I wished to hear classical compositions.

That is why it was so overwhelmed when I found classical music online. I have never certainly studied classical music history that much, and I don’t know the music that well. All I understand is that I love it. That is why it is good for me to have a DJ to play it for me. I don’t really have to ponder about it. I could just sit back and allow the music wash over me.
